I created this image a few minuters before the one I posted yesterday. I might like this one better.
    Thanks for looking.

Very nice pose of redtail - I also prefer this one. I would wish for a slightly better head angle, but the spread of the feathers is quite nice.

I like this one a bit more too. Great wing, tail and leg position. Exposed well in a high key scene. Too bad its not looking up so we can see the eyes a bit better. Great capture Karl!

I like the wing position, details, fanned tail, tight composition and exposure. I am okay with Hawk looking down intently for some prey. Excellent image Karl!

Hi Karl, I prefer this one for the tighter crop, and showing up more detail, but also like your previous post for the more direct eye contact.

Happy New Year to you foo sir, and everyone else here to!
This is really nice and I love the expossure against the bright sky showing super detail and color.
That ISO of 1600 makes me growl, if I used it I would get stuffed by noise :-(
I especially like the wing position here; but do agree that the eyes dont help.
You did so well, the more I try my hand at hawk BIF the harder it seems to get; just finding them aint easy.

I like the high key look a lot Karl, and the colors really stand out.
I also like the hunting pose.
A very attractive photo, would look great in a large print.

    Terrific shot.
Love the wing and the fanned tail. Excellent details and great comp.
The head angle does not bother me as the the rest of the hawk makes up for it.
    Well done.
