    Default Common Loon in Florida

I did not know that FL has Common Loons. The place where there at is not the best for light but I managed to get this one.

Interesting "look-back" pose. If it were mine, I'd clean up the reflections in the eye to leave a single catchlight.

    Mike:

Handsome fellow, agree with Don, good look back pose, clean water.

It would help us a lot to have the shooting details as well as post processing info, so we can better understand and critique the image.

I also agree with Don about simplifying the catchlight. The upper portion with the horizon is fine, would just tone down the lower catchlight off the water. I don't always clean them up, only if they tend to distract from the apparent sharpness of the eye.

Because you are a member, if you host the image on BPN's servers, you will have a thumbnail show up. This helps people to decide about opening the tread, and generally increases the number of views and comments.

    Cheers

    Randy
