    Back-lit fungus growing out of rotting wood.
    Can't remember what I used for fill lighting - probably fill-flash at -2 to -3 compensation.

    Canon EOS 5, 100mm macro, ISO 100, F22, Tripod.

    Love the translucent details, really impressive. This is another one that if I squint my eyes I would swear the image was made under water :)

    Hi John,
    love the backlit..so much so that I will try this myself! My only recommendation is toning down the bright spot in the upper center.....as it is out of tone with the rest,

    Beautiful detail here John. The translucency makes the image look a bit surreal. Really like it. Well done.
