This was taken at a local nature center yesterday. I like the upside down pose. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

Great perch and nice BG. Nice detail on his body...interesting upside down pose, but the few times I have seen these guys they are always in a seemingly awkward position.
Hilarious pose!
The nuthatch is very sharp and nicely exposed.
Cool comp!

These guys cling any which way they can! Great techs, colors, comp. Perfect use of fill flash. I have to admit I have a hard time getting used to the upside down orientation though!![]()
What a crack up. Had my first time seeing and shooting these great little birds a few days ago. They have some grip. Techs look great and nice and sharp. Well captured.

Hi Jim, well done on capturing this pose, not something we will see all the time. Excellent detail and sharpness on the nuthatch, and against a smooth BG.
The perspective is awesome...disorienting, but awesome.
I'm trying to get my head around the size of the perch and the bird being upside down...did
you set the perch up? Regardless, it's cool, and nice flash work too.
A fence, that's it, milled wood probably, It makes perfect sense now. Thanks Jim! I've been wracking my little brain, but now I don't have to,
the fence is the sense I could not find.
