I was re-reading a book by Freeman Patterson and Andre Gallant and had forgotten how much I loved Patterson's slide montages which are so ethereal. I started playing around with a straight image of grasses on Paynes Prairie that I took last week and in Lightroom I reduced the clarity to 0 and then brushed it back in about one half on the tops of the nearest grasses to get this image and then I adjusted levels in PS to lighten it up slightly. I liked the feel of it.

Isn't it fun when motivation AND talent come together? This is a unique vision and a great way to utilize the clarity slider. Well done, Cheryl and thanks for sharing the workflow.

Very creative processing Cheryl. I think the crop you've chosen for this is just perfect.

Your creation is very imaginative; great OOTB thinking. I like the layers of color and the added clarity in the grasses adds a lot to the image.
