Small crop for comp ~ 10% from top and left.
Taken from car with lens resting on rear view mirror ( I had my bean bag in the trunk but no time to get it).
I am not sure about the BG which is water-should I apply a bit of blur to it?

Hi Gail. Very nice light on him, and good detail. Perhaps a bit of blur might help the bg, as you suggest. Ideally, I might have wished for either a full head-on stare or slightly less head turn.

Lovely light! I like the water as is. Seeing the top of one wing and the underparts of the other is pleasing.

A cool shot! good BG and sharp with great details. I wish the light was softer (red channel is blown in the head area) and that the eagle had a more dynamic pose. I would add more room to the right

I like the sharpness, light, details and HA is fine with me. BG is not ideal but I would be happy to have this in my files. A little tight on the right. Well done Gail!

The BG looks fine to be, I wouldn't blur it any more and I think the comp is fine.
This guy looks like he has been around a while!

Nice looking Eagle and good job on the out of the car capture. The BG looks fine to me also and I dont think blurring it is going to help.
I personally like the evening light and dont like taking it out of images that have that look and feel to them. Sharp and well exposed. Maybe a little more on the right. Nice work.

Hi Gail, love the light and warm colours, and you have nailed the sharpness. Great underwing exposure and detail on the near wing. I would leave the BG as is, and agree, even before reading Arash's comment, to add more room to the right. That would be easy with your pp skills.

Looks like to are getting to grips with the 600.
