I had posted this originally in Landscape Forum but was playing around with it and used an Orton effect to make it a little different.

Cheryl, I really like the contrast between the blues and reds. excellent composition, and a very peaceful image.

Beautifully done, Cheryl. The soft clouds and deep colors contrasted with the crisp black mountains and birds makes this special.

Those orange clouds and their reflection are the coup de grace! Very nice layered effect with the blues of the water, the individual black cranes, the solid black mountains, and blues again.

Another fine example of the Bosque Landscape...I like the composition as is. I also tried cropping it, removing the reflection, I thought it was kind of cool like that. But thats just my idea....Happy New Year

Cheryl, I like the colors and the comp. The Orton effect adds a nice softness to the image. It was a beautiful evening!

That is a beautiful landscape Cheryl. I have had similar colors in a few sunsets here, but, alas, no mountains! They and the birds really make the image, along with the beautiful colors of course. I am a fan of Orton effect and it works well here.
