    This wagtail was imaged two weeks back at local lake. It was sitting on the small boat of metal;
    I have replaced dirty looking metallic portion of perch with stone from another image. Cropped and sharpened. NR applied to BG.

    ISO: 400, 1/640@ F: 5.6.Evaluating metering. Exposure bias: +0.3.Av mode.
    WB: Auto. HH. Canon: 550D, 400mm.

    Thanks for viewing and appreciation. C & C are highly appreciated.
    Kind Regards.

    Nice image, lovely background and good PP work. I wish for a little more DOF, maybe f 7.1 would have been a better choice, Satish.

    Hi Satish, a nice pose and I too think just a little more DOF would help. I would also consider increasing the contrast a little on the bird.

    Different but cool pose. I like the open mouth. The BG looks good. I'm wondering if boosting the blacks a bit may improve the contrast. TFS

    Satish:

    I like his pose, paying attention to something overhead.
    I agree with the others, that the bird is a little flat looking, and could use some modest tweaking of contrast/exposure to give it a bit more snap. Moving the black slider to about -40 helps, but I prefer a simple pulling down of the midtones on the tone curve, as it helps the entire image.

    Cheers

    Gorgeous bird!
    The repost is better in terms of tonality, but now noise in the background is more of an issue...consider running some NR.
    I'm not liking the way the perch looks, the fall off of dof is too sharp and noticeable and it looks as though you have severed
    the toe of the bird's right foot?

    Repost looks great. The cloning has hurt the image a little IMO.
