Hello everyone. Been a while since I have posted any pics. With the holidays and my wife having surgery I really have not had chance to sit and process any pics. Had a couple of free minutes today and processed this shot from a couple of weeks back.
    Hope you enjoy.

    Hi Robert,
Nice to see you back and I hope your wife is doing well and enjoying a speedy recovery.
I like the light and your low POV.
The water droplet on the beak is always good for a few extra points!Perfect HA. The whites on the forehead look great (it is so easy to blow them!)
    Nice image,
    Gail

Nice light, low angle, perfect head angle. The drop is a nice bonus. There are two small white specks on the flank that I would eliminate.

    Speedy recovery to your wife!

I do like the low angle as well as the eye contact with this fellow.

I also hope your wife has a speedy and full recovery!

Hi Robert, a very nice widgeon, indeed. I especially like the low angle, and the drop of water that is just about to fall from the beak. Adds just a bit of tension! The brown streaks in the water complement the subject's coloration nicely. Good light, and great HA. Nice detail.

Lovely light, Robert. You've got such a nice duck and the water droplet is a nice touch. My best to your wife for a speedy recovery.

Light quality is excellent. Great low shooting angle. Exposure work is spot on.
I like Dan's suggestion regarding the two bright spots on the flank.
Beautiful image of this handsome drake.
