Great light from the snow to light up the wings.
I think I would like to see more room on the left as it looks like the eagle will be heading to the left.
I don't know how you got him to look at you instead of the dead fish!
I would clone out the bits of dirt in the snow as well,
    Gail

Beautiful detail and wonderful light Arash. Are you keeping the 1D IV now that you have the 1Dx? I just bought a new (used) 1DIV and love the IQ and the way it snaps into focus. This photo shows that capablility very well (of course I realize you and your skill had a lot to do with it!)

    Very well done.

    Wow!!!
Teriffic pose, excellent timing, detail is superb, and exposed perfectly.
    The larger version is fabulous.
    Very well done.

Love those outstretched wings and eye contact with the Eagle. I would maybe clone out the extra fishy stuff in the snow on the left as I am assuming this was baited/chummed in?

Great image. Lots of initial impact. Exposure is good and the detail helped by the reflection offered by the snow.

Was there an opportunity to get a lower angle of view? I think that might have increased the impact even further.

    Cheers

    Austin

Thanks Dennis, the 1D4 is a great body and still one of the best you can find but the 1DX is better for what I do, I think I'll sell my 1D4 soon.

The sharpness of the Eagle's head in the HD version is off the charts.
    Excellent.

Nailed it. Very dynamic and the wing positioning is peak.
I like Gail's suggestion of having more space on the left.
