    Liking his head sticking out of the wings, nicely composed in the frame and can see why you chose the title, it has a rather pleasant painterly look to it

    Like the backgroung, just enough detail to show environment without distraction. Personally I may brighten the eye a little?

    Terrific shot Dan. I love the downstroke wings , clearly showing the spread out primaries , the head just peering out and the yellow dangling legs. Nice bg.
    What raptor is this ?

    Nailed wing position this time! Very well done. Might lighten/sharpen the head and eye a bit.

    A fine shot, love the timing, I too would suggest a slight brightening of the head and a tad more sharpening there also. I suspect the image is focused on the wing(??)

    A gorgeous pastel bg indeed, and great wing position. I only wish for a little more light on the head.
