I'm loving the 1DX BTW, the AF and IQ is amazing, files are sharper and cleaner than the 1D4 by a solid stop at ISO 1600 and beyond. Here is the original frame

Don't know if you've had much time as yet to play with the Case settings Arash but please do try setting the AF sensitivity to Responsive instead of Locked On (the old Slowest), your 600L II combined with the lightning quick focusing of the 1DX will pick any lost subject back up in a blink of an eye.

Seasonss greetings and many thanks for the two .pdf documents you made available on Noise Reduction and DPP.

I think the HA (hat angle, of course) is a bit off, but otherwise an excellent image! Merry Christmas.

Yet another stunning Kite image, both with and without the hat. Best wishes to you for what remains of the holiday season, and a joyous New Year.

Excellent shots and the original one is a real cutie with the hat on, Arash. If you have a 500 lens or longer, I'm pretty sure the 1D X is an excellent choice for avian photography.
