This beautiful Bald Eagle was shot at Flaming Gardens in Davie early this afternoon. Tried stacking a 1.4 and a 2.0 tele-converter to my Sigma 50-500. Focusing was manually and very difficult. Aperture was reading 6.3, but don't think this was correct.
Did some minor adjustments in cs3

    Shutter speed: 1/15 sec
    Aperture: ?
    Exposure mode: Av
    Flash: Off
    Metering mode: Multi-segment
    ISO: 500
    Lens: 50 to 500mm w/2.0 & 1.4 tc
    Focal length: 1500mm

    Comments please.
    Thank you.

stacking converters with the bigma!! you are a maniac:D it does look a bit soft on my monitor. i could suggest giving it a little cw rotation and if you could give back the rear of his head it would be nice too!! i think you can sharpen that eye with USM. hopefully somebody else can explain how. i like the dark bg!!
