This is an image that I have used before, but used a different approach this time. The flower is from Hawaii, that Juanita brought back when we visited the islands. Unfortunately, we found out that the Sandhills like the taste of it and so we no longer have it.

I used a number of processes, some of which went unrecorded, but they included; CS4, Topaz and DAP of which I recall, Topaz lense effects, Topaz adjust, Topaz Simplify along with DAP Aquarell.

    Enjoy!

Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Mark, glad you're posting again. I like your filtering and esp the vignette. It looks like it was a beautiful addition to your yard (I had no idea sandhills ate things like that!)
Merry Christmas to you and yours also.

Thanks Cheryl for viewing and comments. Appreciate it.

We've been working with the local Citrus County Boxing Academy to prepare a presentation for them to use for fund raising and it's been a bigger and more rewarding project then we thought it would be. I also have some other projects going, but hope to be back more regularly soon.

This was a day I just felt like doing my old thing to rest the brain a little!

As for the Sandhills, had we known they were hungry we would have provided something more satisfying! ; > ) I was watching them walk in the backyard one day and one came over and in one swipe got the flower. It never reblossomed unfortunately.

    Make A Great Day!
