Was driving through the Longleaf NWR in Anniston, AL and found this displaying male not far off the road. This was taken from the car window. Surprisingly, the bird was not too concerned with the shutter releases (many) but I was afraid it would definitely not like flash. It was cloudy and early morning so photo was 1/125 @ F5.6, 500mm F4 lens, manual. 1D II. Not a great composition but a beautiful bird. Tried to blur the background some.

Nice job. More space on the bottom and a little blue cast on my monitor.

Nice fluffing moment captured. As mentioned by Sid, you need abit more at the bottom and at the left I may add. I also see the slight blue cast, present even in the green.

Thanks to Fabs and Sid for your suggestions. Have more space that I cropped out so will try to recompose and deblue.
