The exposure, focus and tonality look just right.
I love the way the eye "pops"
The colors seem washed out to me, even though that may be the way it actually looked.
The leaves behind the bird is a bit messy.

Thanks Henry. The leaves and BG was as shown. They were more olive green than 'green'.

Bird looks well exposed and sharp with a good angle. Would like to see the bird a little less centered and wish the beak were more conspicuous.

    Sanjeev:
Excellent image.Nicely exposed bird.I like the nice perch and beautiful lights.
If this is not full frame, would add some space on the LS and crop at the bottom.
    Well done.

    Regards,
    Satish.

I like the composition, and the fact the bird seems eye level. The biggest problem is the harsh light and its direction (upper right). Softer light (lower contrast, as with cloudy conditions) would have been better, but lacking that a more even illumination of the subject by having the sun at your back is most helpful. Of course this has alot to do with the time of day. There is also a merging of the bill with the foliage, which usually requires to be aware of this potential problem while looking through the viewfinder. regards~Bill

Your Egrets bill has lost itself in the foliage Sanjeev which is a pity, a head turn to the left or one looking down would have given the shot more interest.
