    Default shrouded forest

I'm having fun with these blurs. This was a stand of Aspen with trucks half-covered in snow. I ran NIK CE4 Detail enhancer on the image and upped the saturation to squeeze what colour there was. The unintended result is as if the forest was being viewed through a curtain shroud, complete with an archway inviting you in.

Nice job on this. I really like blurs during which the camera or zoom setting is stationary for a part of parts of the capture. Great composition, too.

Excellent blur, John. Love the composition with curtain like effect and bg archway. Nice processing!

The curtain effect is very nice. I also like the slightly tilted angle of the trees. The monochromatic look works very nicely.

John, Nice looking blur. I really like the white and brown color combo. The background adds interest. Have a wonderful holiday :)

For some reason, this reminded me of what might have been seen as they emerged from the back of the wardrobe in "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe". Absolutely love the effect.
