Northern Mockingbird
Workshop: South Texas
D3, 600, ISO 1000, f6.3, 1/320
This is from one of my South Texas workshop earlier in the year. We had many species come in to our berry perch which I set up. I think this one has a holiday feel to it.

As usual, very nicely done. I'm not sure how you get these guys to hold a berry for you like that! Really like the spread leg stance and the head angle with respect to both the body and the camera.
I look forward to setting up some perches after reading your latest e-book. Only a couple days away from (hopefully) getting some nice images!
This is sweet. The pose is perfect. Great perch and awesome BG.
As always, Alan, this is awesome! I think you must be a bird whisperer to have them be so cooperative for you! Everything is perfect and even holiday red and green.
Alan - all you need to complete the holiday feel is some the white stuff from the north! Seriously though, very sweet image with great IQ, background and moment captured.
Stunning in every way, gotta love that berry in the beak
Nice shot, Alan. Love the deep green leaves. Fine job.
Great work as usual. Tack sharp and great pose and expression captured, not to mention the gorgeous background and perch. I just bought your guide to attracting birds, and am looking forward to implementing your techniques and suggestions. TFS.
