This shot was taken at Bosque along the trail from the car window.
If you get out of the car they will hide and you'll never find them (I was told so I never tried).
    Large crop.
    Thanks for looking.

Great pose and lighting but I think the large crop was too much or the capture was a hare OOF. Was the car running?
I take allot of pics out of the car and have learned over the years that a large percent of my shots have a tiny bit of motion blur while the car is running. If I want to make sure the shot is sharp, I turn off the car.

A nice alert pose of the Roadrunner and I guess not an easy bird to photograph. The plumage is a bit on the soft side Karl, would it sharpen up a bit more or is the large crop causing the problem?

Thanks David. The engine was off. It's the large crop.

Thanks John. It's the large crop. I printed it out as a 10x8" and it looks quite resonable as a print. I'll try to sharpen it a bit more.

Lovely bg. Sharpness noted. The feathers on the top of the head look a bit blocky....might open that area up a bit.

Karl, everything is nice but the large crop is hurting it a bit. You might want to try a wider crop so that the IQ will be better.

Nice pose for sure. liked the habitat as well.

    GReat pose and habitat.
The repost looks better, but IQ is still lacking.
