    This is probably the closest in looks that I'll come in a long way to photographing a Reindeer.

    He's even got his tongue out in a jolly spirit.

    I will be visiting family for the Christmas weekend, so see you all after the 26th! Keep well and be safe.




    PS: It's a Waterbuck, for those who are curious...

    Nikon D3s with Nikkor 500mm f4 VR-II
    f8.0 @ 1/800 SS @ ISO-2800
    Taken in the Kruger National Park, close to full frame

    Morkel - I really like the tilted head and the tongue sticking out. Nice detail and IQ as always. BG is a little busy but nothing you can do about it. Merry Chirstmas and enjoy the long weekend!

    Hey Morkel, like the jaunty/quiky angle, but agree the BKG is a little bright and busy. Perhaps toning it down a fraction may help to define & separate the subject more.
