    Hi Vivaldo,
This one ticks all the boxes for me- great IQ, BG and light and the whites look great. I think this would look very nice as a landscape crop as well. I think I would prefer a bit more room at the top of the frame and less on the bottom,
    Gail

Repost is slightly better with composition, unusual choice of vertical framing that works quite well, whites have held nicely too....liking very much the trailing feet and detail on the feet, nicely done

    Very nice shot.
I really like the pose, exposed very well, wonderful background, and light.
I like the second crop, but I think you took to much off the bottom.
    Either way..... Great shot.
    Well done.

excellent shot, awesome details in the white, I agree with Robert that I think you could add a tad more to the bottom.

    nice work though.

Liked the vertical crop as much as yesterday's. From a composition/balance standpoint, I prefer the repost. with the wings up, the added room at top helps.

Great light angle, exposure, and pose. Was this a vertical capture? If so, great tracking. The bird is strong enough and the visible background soft enough that I would like it better as a horizontal with the bird a little smaller in the frame.

Very good BIF pose Vivaldo caught with the wings extended upwards. Good exposure for the white plumage and the egret is nicely portrayed against that soft OOF BG. I also lean towards your repost.

Great shooting angle. Both look good but the repost seems to look better, Vivaldo.

Hi Viv, soft light with great whites, and the flying pose looks good. I do like the colours in the BG, and your repost does work better.

Great job on this 1. The clarity is beautiful and the exposure looks great. I like this 1 much better than first post. Love the dangling feet and the color in the face. Very well done.

Thanks everyone for comments and suggestions I agree that a horizontal crop would have work maybe even better however wanted to try something different, IMO vertical comp works quite well.

Repost rocks...good eye for the comp on Gail's part.
Great follow up image demonstrating the value of shooting/presenting horizontal/vertical views of the subject.

Hi Stuart, I had problems with the D4, auto focus was not working consistently, ESP in bright light. I sent my 600 and D4 back to nikon for calibration and it has helped. I know get surpised at how good it can track a bird in flight. I also get surpised at how it can stay locked onto to a bird with darker BG and get me very sharp results. Hope you managed to get the focus sorted out.
