Image was taken long after sunset at the Okaukuejo waterhole. They were facing me, but their reflection was falling on the water...

Canvas has been flipped, pano crop.

    EOS 5D Mk3, Canon 70-300 L IS.

    Etosha, Namibia.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Kiran

Kiran, I think you may have posted this earlier in the year.

    Kiran. Posted before as mentioned.

I've said it before but I find this evocative, out-of-the-box, moody, brilliant and stunning. The dark framing top and bottom works so well, as does the ripples which show that it's reflected giraffes - clear water would have made it seem that you captured the actual silhouetted bodies.

Hi Kiran, well thoughtout, and I really like the colour of the water. I can a version without the band on top.

I like the image - hadn't seen the previous. It seems (to me) a little strange however looking at the reflection this way round, I wonder if it would not have been better flipped vertically as this would perhaps be the more customary viewpoint. I suspect you may prefer it this way but I will have a look the other way just to evaluate.

I hadn't seen this before.....so as mentioned.....very creative. I am OK with perspective as presented.
