    Icon14 1st flight shot with 1DX

Finally got to try my 1DX today. I must say that I'm impressed with the AF, speed and accuracy. It nails frame after frame.

Here is a sample, it's a female harrier. It's not a top notch photograph in terms of aesthetics but it is a good sample to show what kind of sharpness the 1DX delivers and it delivers consistently rather than sporadically.

Looks good Arash, although you probably rushed this a bit, there is a funny blue patch on top of the tail.

Shocking good flight shot there, Arash. I went over to look at the full HD image, and was mightily impressed.

Arash, on my screen right behind the wing, it might be natural, but does not appear to be?

that's a shadow on white -- it is illuminated by blue sky so it will appear blue. Its easy to clean up.

exactly, it looks more grey on my screen but it would have a subtle blue tone since it reflects light from sky. I didn't change any colors just a quick process.

I was hoping for interaction and hunting but it didn't happen :(

A superb capture Arash with ideal wing position, excellent detail and the warm tones of the BG compliment the warm plumage of the Harrier.
    The 1DX sounds impressive!

Maybe not "top notch" for you, but this would be top notch for the lion's share of us Arash :)
I love this background by the way. Great image.

It's a great camera, probably the best autofocus camera Canon has ever produced. I thought I would have sellers remorse letting the 1D IV go, but I have none as the camera smokes the 1D IV in many ways. I have two Lexar 1000x cards in the camera and the speed of this new body is simply amazing.

Great shot of the Harrier Arash, and congrats on the new toy!

Arash, beautiful shot. loved the sharpness and the BG. If it is a big crop, then details have held up great.

Great shot did you crop this very much?

I would be interested in a review comparing this with the mkiv.
