I like flight shots of this bird, as you might noticed from my yesterday posting, but I also like this kind of interaction so I was quite happy to have noticed and captured it.
    Thanks for looking.

Really sweet image. I love the interaction. The light looks great and love the environment and BG colors.

Wonderful, nice timing too with the bills touching light and subtle color tones throughout this image Karl and eye contact

Yes to great timing and a tender moment. But, the head of the young bird is turned away leaving its eye pretty angled away and not very pleasing. Yes to sweet light but it looks too yellow to me.

Any BKGR clean-up? (Getting two so much in the clear is a good trick, especially early. What was the time?

    Thanks, Artie.
Yes, I did clean up the water. It had many little black spots, mud I would assume.
The time was 4:15 PM and the place was more or less the same as before, about 200 ft left from the viewing deck.
We were waiting for them to fly in.
Yes, it's too bad that one has a funny looking eye.

Yes Karl that was certainly well timed to capture this interaction - nice sharp image, lovely warm colours and I like the two-tone water. A very nice composition.

Hi Karl, light looks good, and I do like the overall colours in this. Well timed to capture the moment, and the colour of the water compliments the cranes nicely.

    lovely ligth and moment, Karl
pity about the head angle of the front one but to me the "moment" envelops that and makes it less noticeable

Such a sweet moment Karl. Well done! This is one of the more original tight frames of cranes
I've seen of Bosque surface this year on the web.
