I love the Heron. The exposure looks good and there is nice detail on the bird. The timing is perfect and the look on his face is awesome. The little guy sticking his head in the frame adds some interest.

hahaha....love the hint of comedy with the Cormorant poking is head in, adds a special something. The heron looks sharp and nicely lit, beautiful wings....out of curiosity is he/she a bit scruffy looking ?

A beautiful image of the heron alighting Stuart - great pose with out-stretched wings, sharp and good exposure. Agree with the comical look of the cormorant poking its head into the scene..!! Well seen and executed.

Great impact and drama with the well lit heron coming in. In regards to the cormorant, I much prefer the effect in this image vs the last. That cormorant just makes me laugh....reminds me of a hand puppet or something... Beautiful plumage on that heron too!

Great pose and remarkable colors on the heron. The clouds frame the head nicely. Unlike most of the others, I would remove the cormorant. There isn't enough of it.
