    Default Winter Fashion Statement

For the snow theme, I thought this guys minimal approach might just squeak in there. I used Nik Color Efex glamour glow, and classic soft focus filters and then added just a touch of Fractalious. A bit of masking here and there to finish up. A fun image for me, and yes, that single snowflake did actually land right there. A lucky shot for me.

Outstanding fashion statement, and at such a jaunty angle! I love the simplicity of a single snowflake and that you can see the intricate design of the flake. Your choice of the soft focus filter was perfect. I do like that fractalius highlights the feather details enough for them to still be seen.

Hi Dave, I like the effect and the subject. That snowflake adds a nice touch also. Regarding the perch I would either add more of it or take it out completely...

Thank you so much for your thoughts Nancy. I did enjoy softening him up a bit.
Dave, I absolutely agree on the perch thought, and don't know why I didn't see that before. I'll go with a little less to see how it looks. Thanks again Nancy and Dave.

Dave, I love the repost. The soft filtering is just perfect for the image and fractalius adds to the effect. The snowflake is the "icing on the cake"

What a cutie! The repost is perfect. Love the soft look, that still allows me to see the feathers. Beautiful soft tones. That one snowflake shines. Lovely work.

What a lovely image! The softness is perfect and the snowflake really puts it over the top! It is much improved by removing the perch.
