    Cropped from 7360x4912 to 1389x1389

    Highlight recovery, fill light, selective darken, boost vibrant and saturation on the eye, lighten eye, curve, NR and sharpen.

    Just try something totally different for me today, hugh square crop, side lighting and under expose, not sure how it turn out…

    All comments and suggestions are welcome.

    Details held up quite nicely despite the huge crop. I don't mind the moody darker side-light. Very in-your-face but I'm not sold on the comp though...not a big fan of the cut toes. What was the un-cropped version look like?

    I don't have the finish post process uncrop version (it was a quick pp anyway), so here is before (except some RAW adjustment) much looser crop version.
    Now I look at it I forgot I also rotate the picture a bit too.

    Hi,

    For me a slightly wider crop, to include the feet but otherwise the same as the OP would work, and I prefer the luminosity of the bird in the repost (original). However I think you did a great job on the eye.

    Beautiful image.Very nice details and eye.Would crop vertical,including full toes.Well done something different.
