    This winter migrant was imaged in the last week. Light was almost harsh.Cropped for composition and sharpened.

    ISO: 200, 1/1000 at 5.6, Spot metering, Exposure bias: +0.3 stop.
    WB: Auto. HH. Canon: 550D, 400mm.

    Love the low angle, the sharpness and detail, and how the bird seem to be looking at you. Those eye really get my attention. I may crop a bit off the top.

    Nice standard profile portrait of this duck. I like the very subtle head turn towards us. Techs are well dialed in and I like the low angle. You could try to minimize the highlights on the bill...

    Hi Satish, overall, well exposed and sharp, and you captured a good HA, not to mention that your low angle of capture works too. Love the overall colours of both duck and water, and I too, would take some off the top.

    Satish, what a nice image! Pretty light, nice pose, pleasing details, especially the water droplets on the duck's back.
