    Found this loggerhead shrike in the backyard this week and he was quite cooperative while I had an opportunity to photograph him. They are such striking birdsmand great hunters.

    Judy, I do not like to many BOAS images. But this one is a fine example of one and it goes beyond. It looks normal clutching the single branch, both claws are visible and it is nicely exposed, good details and fairly nice head turn. It looks as if is hanging on for dear life. A keeper.

    I also like it Judy !!!! Could only wish for a lower angle Got to have Gary to a little more yard work :D Fill flash sure would have helped !!!!

    ................. between the owls and this visitor you might wan to start running tours of your yard !!! :cool:

    Nice image, agree with Alfreds fill recommendation and the lower angle would be good.
