Great shot, I would probably crop it so there was more space on the left then the right.

other then that it looks great.

Very well timed Nick, I know how quick these little guys are. Nice sharp image, good wing span and I like the anticipation of the swallow about to alight on the perch. Well done!

Not a easy one to pull off, especially you can see the wings are still slightly blurred at 1/2000s. Good job on getting the focus. I would chop off the right side a bit.

Well timed and I lie the slight wing blur to add life to the image, not sure about the square crop, but also not sure which way to improve upon it...excellent shot either way

Hi Nick, Ive always stated that take off shots are easy, but incoming perching shots are difficult to get spot on, but you have nailed this one perfectly. Love the overall timing, good wingspread, and the concentration on the swallow's face for the landing. I do like the blue iridescence on the head. Well captured.

Great job on the capture of this Swallow. Sharp where it counts and exposed well. Like the intent stare and feet thrown out. He must have been coming back and forth. Good job on the manual pre-focus, I use it allot on different flight setups.
