    Default Winter's Folly

Just a new "indoor" activity until temps improve a bit.

This was my first attempt at Physiograms.
It's easy... swing a light from the ceiling with your camera below ... aimed up at light.
Used the 14-24mm at 14mm and f/22 and the huge DOF made the focusing easy.
    Bulb setting for 105 sec.
Color temp, levels and clarity adjusted in Lightroom. Some cloning and Levels adjustment in CS6.

Now, I am starting a list of what to do with them.
    Some composites perhaps. Any ideas???

    All C&C welcome.

Steve, this is fantastic! You are so creative. I hope to have some time to give this technique a try!! I love it, the black BG is a perfect touch.

I just can't wait to see what's on that list. A lot could be done just using the physiograms, themselves. The patterns and the change in tones where the traces are close together are just mesmerizing. I hate to wish it on you, but -- for the rest of us -- I hope you have a long, cold winter.

Wow, now that's exciting. Hope to see more....and hope I have time soon to experiment with it myself.

Steve, this is very cool. Check out this article from the September Mini-Mag - http://deniseippolito.com/magazine/a...ember-edition/. Maybe you could try doing one of those creations with it

Wow! I love the repeating lines and the shape created. Perfect with the black bkgd. I think a series of these would make great and interesting art for waiting rooms for doctors, lawyers, lobbies, wherever.

I'm late to the party, but I love the design you created, very cool technique! It would make one of a nice set for a wall display so you'll have to do more!

Wonderful image. Love the symmetry, the light, the color--everything. A most creative idea. I'd like to see these in different colors.
