    Default Ross's Goose.

I have a few more shots of this series. I'll check them out later but I think this is the best.
Overall I have so much less images of this species compared to Snow Geese.
No wonder they outnumber them probably 10-1 or more.
    Thanks for looking.

I'm with Arash about the nice banking pose and light. Super details, I especially like the near wing. I'd try to tame the darker area touching the goose's head though.

Great exposure and terrific flight pose, Karl. You also have a very pleasing BG.

Love the pose and the depth, Karl. Exposure, details and bg are all great.
If anything I'd move the bird further up in the frame a bit.

I also love this banking-pose Karl creating a very nice diagonal composition. Lovely light & exposure and a killer BG. Well done!

    Karl:

Good observations above. I agree with Sidharth in regards to the amount of room at the bottom. I would consider doubling or tripling the amount of free space below the wingtips, with perhaps a little balancing crop from the top.

    Cheers

    Thanks Randy, thank you all.
I changed the crop as per Sidharth's and Randy's suggestion and removed the dark around the top of the head as per Daniel's suggestion. Looks better.

Repost looks great Karl. Excellent flight image. Sharp and well exposed.
Did you find any cackling geese down there? I remember that a while back, that
was one of your nemesis birds no?

Thanks, Shawn. Finally I saw five of them last year through spotting scope here in Ontario.
Next time they might be close to a picture taking. I did not see any in NM. The Cackling Goose is an other cutie Goose.

Hi Karl, great diagonal banking pose, and overall good job on the whites. Your repost does work better, and the BG is a killer. Well captured.
