    Default Upper Yosemite Falls

Another one from Yosemite... With the recent rains, the waterfalls are in full flow and a great opportunity to try something new! I took this in the morning when warm sunlight lit up the entire falls which happens only this time of the year unlike in spring/summer when sun comes up on the falls much later in the day. And unlike most years, with the Falls back in flow, it was great photographing the rainbow too! For processing, I used Topaz Simply with one of the toned presets, used a mask and painted over with different brush opacities to open up the underlying colors selectively. Hope you like it...

Great image. With all the grays and browns, which I like, the rainbow adds a real spark. Very effective work with Simplify. I might add a bit of canvas to the top, but it's nice just the way it is.

Indranil, the rainbow is a real plus! I like the Simplify effect and the composition. I think I'd like it better without the vignetting in the upper corners.

The rainbow makes this extra special! Lovely image and processing. I would prefer no vignetting. Very nice work.
