Had a great time with Artie and Denise and the rest of the gang in Bosque. The highlight of the trip was learning to see creatively and I have to thank Denise for spending time and helping
me improve so much, best of all I had a blast!

This was one of my favorite images as it has such a painterly feeling to it.

Beautifully done Gaurav! It was a pleasure as always to hang out photographing with you. I'm so glad that you enjoyed doing blurs as much as Cheryl, Artie and I do. This one came out great. The colors, flow, and layered background all come together nicely! Great job!!

Wonderful blur, Gaurav! Nice colors and works well with the backdrop of the mountain... TFS.

I think backgrounds are quite important in a blast-off blur. Yours has a nice array of layered colors and is well-composed. Most of the blast-offs I've seen seem to be zoomed out further. I like your approach of a closer view. Very nice work. Thanks for posting it, here.

This is fantastic! I really like the near abstractness of the black birds and that they are evenly spread throughout the frame. I completely agree with Dennis that backgrounds are so important and this is what makes this image really stand out; the layers of colors and that they transition from bright on the bottom to soft on the top, and that each layer is approximately a third of the image.

Gaurav, this is "painterly" and beautiful. I love the touches of pink in the upper background, as well as the layers of color. The abstract blackbirds remind me of dancers I hope you've got more to share with us.

Hi Gaurav, this is a great blur of the Red-winged Blackbirds...the way they have blurred they look kinda like bats to me.

I'm not a big fan of blurs, but this one is lovely. The birds seem to create diagonal lines. The different colored background sections adds interest.

I am a big fan of blurs, I just can't do them. Well, not quite right, I should say I'm learning how to do them.

This is super. I really love the BG colours and the bird shapes.
