    Camera Canon EOS 7D
    Exposure 0.002 sec (1/640)
    Aperture f/6.3
    Focal Length 500 mm
    ISO Speed 100
    Exposure Bias +1/3 EV
    Flash Off, Did not fire
Hand held with the 500 f/4 II
I got my 500 II a few days ago. I would like to thank the BPN community for helping me out with the decision to choose the lens, particularly Atrie, Arash, Doug, Roger and others who gave their suggestions. I am liking the lens a lot, it is hand holdable and balances well with the 7D with a battery grip. Planning to get a Gimbal to make things easier. Make a few quick images to test the lens, will post a few. But intend to choose the right time and lighting to get better ones.
    Thanks and Regards
    Sanjeev

nice exposure and details, I am not sure about the deep blue sky and square crop here, a vert. might work better

Thanks Arash, here is a RP with a Vertical crop......The Sky was as is, did not touch it. Just a slight increase in 'vibrance' in PS

I'd go for a vert tight crop (w/o the veggies) and desat the sky a bit

    congrats on the new lens

Congrats on the new lens Sanjeev!! I'm OK with the sky but agree a tighter vertical would be nice. Although it worked out here don't be afraid to boost the ISO especially if you're going to handhold at these bigger lenses with longer focal lengths...

Thanks Daniel! I will up the ISO when needed to keep the SS up, ESP when shooting HH. Here the light was strong so I could get away with it, cheers.
