I took this photo last January. We haven't had snow yet this winter.
Cropped. Applied "Let It Snow" texture by Muffet and did tonal contrast in CEP3.

This is wonderful, Anita. The composition, with those flowing lines -- not only the holly but in the texture, as well -- is very nice. The red in the berries is just incredible. I'm assuming the texture is the snow flakes and you had actual snow, as well. Thanks for the specifics on the texture. I'm going to investigate that.

Thanks, Dennis. Yes, there was snow on the Holly, and I added a texture. I find free textures at flickr's "textures for layers" group .

Anita, I had to look twice at the texture! Nicely done. The composition and the texture work very well together!

This is excellent, Anita. I love the composition... wonderful color of the berries. I also like your use of the texture... very different and works really well!

Perfect theme image, Anita. Great light, processing and the color gives it that "I'm enduring the cold" feel. Thanks for the texture info.
