I came across this beautiful male tiger while on a jeep safari in Nagarhole NP (India)
The light was a bit harsh as it was around 4pm

Nice to see you back, Saurav. I like the alert pose and the light seems well handled, I don't get that overly 'harsh' feeling here.
I like how you kept the tiger below the treeline.
    Looking forward to more...

    Hi Saurav,

looks great your image. I might would that "thing" above the shoulder of the tiger out, but that is just me. Beautiful animals they are.

    Ciao

Hi Saurav, good call on the choice of format, works well with the subject.

I think also a 16 x 9 format is quite good for this too, but I do fine the BKG a little busy and therefore perhaps a 900 x 450 could also work as another option, cropping some off the top? It would help reduce the brighter green area top left. I guess it must be heat haze appearing within the BKG and so you might like to add a few points of gaussian blur just to help smooth things out? I'm surprise though, with the distance between subject & BKG, plus shooting at f/4. I do like the side profile, face to camera, richness of the coat/stripes and raise paw, great. I agree with Anette, the OOF objects to touching the shoulder is not ideal, and some gentle work in removing them would certainly help, but again, just depends on your ethics.

Nice walking pose with a turn of the head to the camera. There's a nice richness to the colors and the light looks well handled. I agree with the suggestion of a little NR or blur to the bg.
