This was taken in Costa Rica in January. It was dark with a little fog. It is a fair crop with a couple of branches cloned out. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

I always find these Toucans such stunning creatures Jim. Nicely presented here with the head and bill in sharp focus. The soft light worked in your favour giving good exposure for both the light and dark plumage.

Hi Jim, a difficult fellow to expose, but you have done well. These guys have such amazing bills, and a bird I would love to see and photograph one day.

Sorry , I'm a latecomer to this image,Jim.Awesome image of an amazing bird.I like the way the perch and the bird cross over in a diagonal. The HA ,eye and general posture are really lovely.
