    Here is another picture taken today at Willowbank's walk thro' aviary.
    After deciding that New Zealand's mid-day autumn light
    was a bit low for BIF I went to 1600 ISO.
    Pentax K10D 1/3000 sec @ F5.6 @ 300mm.
    No EV adjustment and about 50% crop.

    You have a nice action image of the Kea. I had no idea how interesting and colorful the underneatth wing pattern was. Oh if only to have had this one in a less cluttered BG to fully enjoy the wings and a catchlight. You do a remarkable job photographing these birds in what has to be difficult environments there.
