More King Penguins from South Georgia. These birds appear so stoic. They just stand and endure whatever comes; rain, snow, sun, wind, elephant seals, feisty fur seals, tourists with cameras...

I used fractalius and the snow is real.

Hi Nancy, this is lovely. I love the diagonal placement of the birds in the comp. I might crop a little off the top to eliminate the vertical lines up there that were created by Fractalius.

Nancy, I love this! I'd crop from the top but keep the wisps coming off the ridge - they look like blowing snow. I especially like the little "huddle" of penguins on the right. They look like they're gathered around a campfire

Nancy, this is excellent! I like the landscape with the penguins huddling together and how the line goes diagonally across the frame. What's the dark top? I like Cheryl's idea of the crop.

Nice image. No doubt about that diagonal being a great element. As much as I like the blue with the brown in the foreground, I agree about cropping some of it off.

I love the diagonal line of penguins and the huddle on the right. Nice filter work! I agree about the crop from the top.

It's unanimous, I'll crop some off the top to eliminate the fractalius lines that drop down. Great suggestion all! The dark top is grayish sky. It is always fun to see what lines fractalius picks up. I love the thought that the group of penguins on the right are huddling around a campfire!

Nancy, It does look like a campfire scene. Love the diagonal. Ditto the top.

Great image for the theme. The Penguins look like they are getting into line to go somewhere. Nice composition. Nice processing. Agree about cropping from top. The blowing snow, the subdued colors, the shapes of the Penguins, make this look like a harsh winter day.
