    Hi Ian, Love the eye contact ,good details in the bird ,I question if the bird could be moved off center just a bit or even placed in a diagonal.As is it splits the frame.....IDK?!

    Thanks, Clyde. I wrestled with the framing on this one and moved the bird around a few times before settling on this. I'm still not sure about it and appreciate your thoughts.

    Very interesting in flight shot Ian. Great eye contact and a neat "twist" on a gull. :) Not sure about the framing either. I'd probably crop some off the right side to take it out of center. Clyde's suggestion about a diagonal might work too. Nice image.

    Ian, gray sky is ok as long as it is not the only thing in the background. More vertical on the crop for me and some color would really add to the image.
