This is truly incredible and I am bedazzled! It's rare that I see such a wonderful combination of natural history and artfulness! On my monitor it looks a little bit too contrasty or possibly over-sharpened, but I'll admit that I'm on a calibrated laptop. WELL DONE!

Great action Jim. And really nice to see the eyes on both birds. Well done! I agree with Jack, seems a bit contrasty on my calibrated monitor. Is this a large crop? I do see some halos from sharpening.

When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was a reflection in water and then realized it was a superb flight capture - A great achievment Jim.

Great interaction. Tack sharp as well.
I have lots of these shots but precious few with both heads visible.
The color and IQ seem a bit off to me. Is this a big crop?
I think with some corrected PP this would really be amazing,

This really shows what contortions these guys go through in their aerial combat. Great capture. I also think I'm seeing a little over-sharpening around the beaks of both birds.

It was a huge crop, Roger. Here is the unmodified full frame.

Personally, I prefer the full-frame version, or best yet: something that would split the difference. The sense of space takes this shot into the realm of the otherworldly...I would love to see something in between the original capture and your original post. I think it would be tremendous!!
