    Dan,

Great sharp red-tailed. Love the pose and determined look. Good colors in the background.

Great, sharp, with nice detail. The outstretched wings are great. The bg compliments the bird well. The only addition that I would make is just a tad of brightening on the eye.

Great capture Dan! Nice details with good wing position and a lovely background. The details are there, but I thought it could be sharpened a little bit more.

    Dan:

Very nice extension of wings, legs, interesting BG, well exposed. Head is a bit soft, back wing is bit sharper.

    Cheers

A great flight pose Dan well captured against that nice soft BG. Another vote for a tad more sharpening on the head.

Excellent wing position and pose. Great background. I like this one!
If it were mine, I'd do a little work to get rid of the OOF grass in the foreground, lower right,

Thanks Don,Yes I was a bit lazy, removing the grass looks good, I also should have sharpened a bit more.I will for myself, I don't print many, but I will probably print this one. Thanks for taking the time.

Superb capture ,Dan. The overall posture is beautiful.
Would improve image to slightly sharpen the head locally , as commented on by Randy. Love the clean bg.

    Thanks for the comments,
    Don, yes, Ridgefield today.
A hawk paradise right now, dozens of them and tame as can be.
I got a lot of photos like this one, low light, iso 1600 minimum and most at 2000 to 3200.
Winter in Oregon......, but still a lot of opportunities.

Man, you sure are neck high in raptors. Great capture on this one and the exposure and BG are nice. Love the hanging feet and the HA. Just a bit more sharpening on the head and head to press :) Nice work. Dons re-post is nice too.

Love the pose, Dan, and you've captured him against a nice bg too. You've mastered these high iso images!

Hi Dan, love the flying pose with the raised wings, and all against a colourful BG. Good detail and colours on the bird, and agree, some selective sharpening on the head wont harm. I do like how the yellow feet pop, together with the curled talons.
