Hi - well yesterday was a very bleak overcast day - very very dull, but the spoonbills were just across the road from me so could not resist.

This one might beelong in out of the box maybe ... unconventional type pose - but I kinda like it.

I like it also Lance !!! A good preening pose Beautiful bird and glad it was overcast I'll bet is one difficult bird to expose in full sun !!!

I like how you gave more room to the left of the fame. Good exposure and detail Not familiar with that bird Wonder how they change when they go into breeding? Neat !!!

thanks for the kind words everyone - it is a Yellow Billed Spoonbill, Here were I am we get that one and occasionaly a Royal Spoonbill which looks much the same except with a black bill and red eyes.
