    Default Red-tailed Hawk landing

    Was photographing a friendly RTH
hunting in a vole infested field as it flew from perch to perch.

    Very, very nice.
300mm?, it must be tame as it doesn't look like much of a crop.
BG is killer and sharpness and exposure top notch.

Lovely landing pose with great colors. Whites look good. Seeing some slight haloing around some of the upper wings.

A great capture of the hawk preparing to alight Tim. Excellent detail and well portrayed against that rich tan BG.

Judging from all the images of this hawk I see materializing on the web, must be turning into
quite the rockstar out there! And why not...this bird is quite the performer, and so tame....!
I'd be out there everyday :) This is a great image. Excellent light quality, sharp details, and the
hunting/power of the bird comes through well in this presentation.

The IQ is excellent and I love the colors.
    Well chosen comp as well.
I would blend the diagonal bright OOF branch coming from the RLC as it keeps catching my eye.
    Otherwise, a superb shot,
    Gail

Wonderful, sharp and rather like the finer detail on the legs, complimentary backdrop too

The rich darker background really makes the lighter well detailed Hawk stand out. Fantastic BIF capture.

I cloned out a dark area around the UL wing feathers which left behind a mess (that's why I avoid cloning altogether)
I also cloned out the diagonal line leading to the talons, and the dark patches at the top. Thanks.
