Nicely captured Greg, very sharp and excellent exposure for the white plumage. Caught nibbling on the flower-head adds lots of impact. This Corella has only very recently extended its range and now appears in the eastern states around my area. Still haven't managed to photograph this one yet!

Nice exposure and very sharp detail Greg, excellent eye detail, liking the flower head in it's mouth as well. We get them here as well, in their thousands, mostly the short billed variety, incredibly destructive, impressive sight seeing the sky filled with them....,but the novelty soon wears off

Nice exposure work and the bird's munching of the plant material is good stuff as well.
Compositionally, I think this is too tight on the bottom and and the left side in particular.
At the time of capture, exploring the creation of more fg blur with a lower shooting angle,
even at the cost of seeing less of the bird, would have been worthwhile imo.

Neat bird, looks like a was old man. Love the snack in the bill. I agree with Shawn about the comp and about the possibility of exploring an even lower angle in this situation. Great job with the details and exposure!

Hi Greg, good feather detail brought out in this, as the whites look spot on. The feeding behaviour adds, and I do like blue eye patch. Another vote for more room left and bottom.
