Here's another Willet from Ding Darling. I liked the early-morning color of the reflected mangroves.

Landing? It looks as if it is moon walking. Super sharp with a perfect EXP. My two wishes (had you gotten lucky instead of just good) would be for the near-wing to be fully raised and the head to be turned just a tad more towards us.

I agree with Artie's critique but also think it's a neat pose and I like the color of the water and the quality of the light. Excellent exposure.

Thanks Artie and Melissa. Stay tuned. Here he was in braking mode. Two frames later his near wing was fully extended when he hit the water. I'll try to post that one tomorrow.

Hi Bill, this image looks just fine to me - I love this stage of landing you've managed to capture here, the mega sharpness and excellent exposure. The cool tones in the water also work very well. Well done again!

Super cool pose! It does look like it's airwalking. Nice and sharp too.
I enjoy the green colored water. The (blue sky reflected?) parts of the floating
vegetation...not so much. Regardless, it's a great image.
