I like the placement of the bird between the two red plants and the good eye contact. The clean BG is a nice bonus. I would like to see a little more space around the bird, and I'd apply some selective sharpening to the head. Just out of curiosity, where did you find this bird?

Beautiful bird, indeed. excellent pose, colors, comp., BG, perch. Agree with some more room around.

I am detecting some motion blur in the head. 1/200 SS is probably not idea...but looks like light was not great( understandable). wondering if opening the aperture a bit more would have been a better choice. Looks like you were parallel to the bird.
