Not the same bird as the one I posted week for so ago.
This is Another taken 2 days ago while it was sitting on a fence post.
A wild bird, not a captive.
This is about 60% of FF.
    Those beaks take a beating!

Some awesome detail in that head Dan - A great bonus to come across while out driving resulting in a beautiful portrait of this raptor.

Beautiful portrait full of details. A couple of hotspots on the chest to tone down, and I wish the bill was in better condition, especially the tip (we cannot always choose our wild subjects, especially raptors!!)

Handsome subject captured in nice light, and yes, the IQ is very good.
I like the indirect eye contact in this image.

Great detail on this portrait. Perfect lighting with no shadows at all. I too wish the beak were in better condition but cant have it all. Well done.
P.S. sorry I miss IDed your last post. Saw your great shot on my Iphone and the color led me to a rough leg but once I saw it at home I could see that it is a Redtail. Great shot once again.

The IQ is just phenomenal here, Dan, and you exposure looks great.
Always nice to find friendly subjects.
