Nice lighting and excellent detail. I might desaturate the reds in the flower a little to get some more detail in it.

Gary, a very attractive hummer, with nice lines, a nice head angle, and good detail. Well exposed, with a nice background, and well-balanced composition. On my monitor, it appears that the red flowers are completely blown out--there is no detail.

I desaturated the reds but with the flower facing slightly away from us there did not appear to be much detail to recover. I hope this looks a little better.

Hi Gary, good hovering pose from the HB, tack sharp, and I do like the green iridescence on him. I dont see any more detail in the reds in your repost, only a colour change. As you stated, maybe at time of capture there was no detail.

A lovely composition of this hummer Gary - very attractive. Yes the reds are often a problem with their tendancy to over-saturate but your repost has improved in appearance with desaturation.

Very nice "frozen flight" shot of this lowland hummer. I like the detailed feathers on his neck.
